Question: When do I need a full set of dentures?

Answer: A full set of dentures replaces all of the teeth in your smile. We may suggest one if you’re missing all, or most, of your teeth. The prosthetic contains a full set of teeth and a base made from acrylic that simulates the appearance of natural gum tissue. The prosthetic is held in place with natural suction and replaces all of your teeth. You may need the prosthetic for one or both arches.

Question: When will the doctor recommend a partial?

Answer: A partial is recommended for people missing several teeth, especially if they’re spread out across the arch. Like the full option, this contains lifelike teeth and a base that looks very similar to gum tissue. However, instead of suction, metal clasps are used that attach to the remaining natural teeth, anchoring the prosthetic in place.

Question: Will they fit comfortably?

Answer: Yes. The prosthetics will be custom-made based on detailed impressions and images taken of your smile. We will make sure the fulls or partials fit comfortably and don’t slip, so you avoid embarrassment when eating or speaking.

Question: Will my new prosthetic look natural?

Answer: Yes. We use lifelike materials to ensure your new smile looks natural. We also want the replacement teeth in your partial to blend with the rest of your smile.
